Σύμφωνα με τα στατιστικά στοιχεία το 2016 ο τομέας κρουαζιέρας για το λιμάνι του Πειραιά έκλεισε με σημαντική αύξηση πάνω από 10% (113.000 επιβάτες) σε σχέση με το 2015, ενώ ιδιαίτερη άνοδο 24% σημείωσε το homeporting ως αποτέλεσμα της πολύ καλής συνεργασίας με την Carnival, σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του Οργανισμού Λιμένα Πειραιά (ΟΛΠ).
